Yachting has always been a core sector for our firm and plays an important role in maritime law on both the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts. Over the years, we have represented and continue to represent shipyards, shipowners, skippers, contractors, suppliers and crews, working closely with tax, insurance and labour advisers. Our work ranges from negotiating and drafting yacht sale, purchase and refitting contracts, to drafting tender and supply agreements. We also manage financing and leasing practices, as well as vessel registration, due diligence and enlistment contracts. In addition, our firm has extensive experience in national and international arbitration before major courts and we rely on an important network of contacts around the globe.
We have also performed a considerable number of yacht seizures for clients and have consolidated relationships with notary firms specialising in the establishment of liens on yachts.
